Boxer Line by Basic Grey
Created using the BOXER line from Basic Grey:
Uncle Jeff, the skydiving instructor! What fun the boys had at the Drop Zone watching the planes, sitting in the planes & watching th skydivers fall to the earth. I think the best part of their day was just Hanging Out with Unky Jeff!
Grandma Bev & Papa Charlie brought both boys cowboy hats from the Havelock Jamboree (2008). Once they got their hats they needed their horsies and began horsin around!

Christmas in July!
I stopped at 2 LSS's today, no kids, just me! I love them, but how nice it is to be able to browse freely!
I have been thinking about a friends Christmas gift, I know I am early, but if I get it started now it may just be finished in time for Christmas! Today, I saw it and bought it - The Bo Bunny Word Book TRAVEL. I had selected several papers from around the store to use, but then I saw it, and it called out to me....the Basic Grey EUPHORIA line! Love it!!
Here it is, the naked board book and the Euphoria papers, coupled with Bazzill bling for what should be a beautiful book!
And here it is with the papers on it! And now all I need to do is soften the rough edges, paint the edges, produce some mattes, and embellish it - the fun stuff, but a long process! I will post the finished product once I am done.

I finished the Design Team stuff for the Scrapbook Academy for June! I also completed 2 cards but did not take pictures of them, I don't know what I was thinking...
Just moments old, my wee little man. This will be the title page for his baby book.
He is 20 months old and I still have not competed his baby book (Bad mommy!).
Each mini picture opens to reveal the story behind the photo, and it is a great place to tuck and extra photo or two pertaining to the main picture!
PHOTO DEVELOPING TIP: Have some of your photos printed in wallet size, it is a great way to utilize a lot of pictures on a layout, and a cost-effective way to have a lot of photos printed if you are doing more than one layout or album (Such as a gift for grandparents at Christmas!)

It's official! I have been accepted on the Design Team at the Scrapbook Academy in Oshawa,ON and I am super excited! This is a new store which has been open for less than a year and we are the inaugural DT.
I just picked up my June DT goodies and ironically, it is the same paper line that was my finale paper at the Scrapbook Emporium (it's a good thing I like the chosen paper line!). The paper is by Bo Bunny, and now to decide what to create with it!

I have to say that I like to print my journaling from the computer, I am trying new things by actually handwriting the journaling here.

I finally did it!!!! I was published in the summer 2008 edition of the Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine! I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised, this was only the second time I made a submission to a magazine so to actually be picked up felt awesome! I am now addicted to trying to get published and have been sending more of my layouts to various publications - wish me luck!

DinoLand USA
Here is my latest! I have been planning this lay out for days and last night I just could not take it anymore! I got up at 11 pm and broke out the glue and scissors! By 1 I was back in bed feeling satisfied! I am extremely happy with how it turned out!
I LOVE the archaic line!!! It is so nice to work with a boys line that is not so blue and so baby'ish!!! I need to run out to my LSS and buy some more papers before they sell out!
I created this layout from the Basic Grey Archaic line using: Archaic Chip Sticker Shapes, Dirty paper, Rock paper, Primal paper, Dino paper, Archaic Element Stickers, Archaic 6x6 Paper Pad. Additional materials include Bazzill cardstock, vellum, color box ink, pop dots and letting was cut using the QK Silhouette; The font is Instant Message Freak downloaded from the internet.
DinoLand USA at Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of my boys favourite places! These photos were taking when my son was 15 months old.

Ben, you and Brandon have so much fun at AK, I honestly think that if we were to just spend the day digging in DinoLand you would both be perfectly happy.
Never stop exploring little man, keep digging until you reach your dreams and goals.
Thanks for looking!
**UPDATE**
I forwarded this layout to the paper manufacturer 'Basic Grey' and they selected it for their idea gallery! It will be on display on their website for 60-90 days!!

Altered Tin Stars
Benjamin’s nursery is decorated in a ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ theme.
This star captures miniature photos of some very precious memories, first bath at home, kisses from a big brother at their first meet, and the fear I felt when he was diagnosed with jaundice and had to remain in the hospital under the phototherapy lamp. It is amazing that so many feelings and memories can be captured in such a tiny space!
