My Name is Lea Cooke and I am a scrapbook addict!

I have been scrapbooking since 2004, I love working with paper and embellishments; I am the queen of the mini-album & pop dots!

I have previous Design Team experience with the Scrapbook Emporium from 2005-March 31st, 2008. (SEDT is no longer using a Design Team.) My future scrapbook goals are to teach.

I am slated to be published in the Summer 2008 issue of Canadian Scrapbooker!

Thank you for looking at my work!

Altered Tin Stars

Benjamin’s nursery is decorated in a ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ theme.

This star captures miniature photos of some very precious memories, first bath at home, kisses from a big brother at their first meet, and the fear I felt when he was diagnosed with jaundice and had to remain in the hospital under the phototherapy lamp. It is amazing that so many feelings and memories can be captured in such a tiny space!

Quinte in the Fall

Another fall day full of fun and frolicking! We had gone out of town to visit friends that had a new baby. As we were leaving their house there were huge old maple trees in the front yard and leaves all over! The boys had so much fun laughing and chasing each other.

Journaling reads:

Brandon & Benjamin

Had SO much fun

Playing in the leaves

At our friends house on

The Bay of Quinte, ON.

Mommy, Daddy, Papa

And Grandma had

Just as much fun

Watching.

It was an

absolutely Beautiful autumn day and we could not have

Asked for anything

Better! The tall old

Maples had lost their

Leaves and the fall

Colours were stunning!

November 3rd, 2007

Quinte In the Fall was cut out using the silhouette, as was the leaf which was inked and covered with modge podge to give it that leafy/waxy look.

Give Thanks

My guys! This photo was taken on my Brother-in-Laws wedding day, it was a cold and drizzly October day, but my guys were troopers and let me take their picture! I wanted to keep the layout simple.

Text reads:

I am Thankful

for my 2 Boys &

My Wonderful Husband.

I am Thankful

for Friends & Family .

Give Thanks was cut using the Silhouette, pumpkin is acrylic

Tractor Boy

I love this picture of my son Brandon! It was taken on a beautiful fall day in 2007 while we enjoyed an afternoon playing in hay bales, sitting on the tractors and eating ice cream! I love the buttons and the ‘fun’ elements to this lay out.

Hidden Journaling reads:

My dignified little man, you look like you could be in a magazine advertisement for Tommy Hilfiger!

I totally love this photo of you; At 3 and a half, you look so grown up. We had so much fun that day up at White Feather Farm, I don’t know what you liked better, playing on the tractor or playing in the hay bales. No matter what I said, you would not look at me & the camera, and you were rarely staying still – I seriously don’t know how I captured you looking so laid back and relaxed.

I love you, and I will always look at this picture and remember & treasure our fun filled September day at ‘the farm’!
